Frequently asked questions
How do I add a plant?
Tap the + button on Home or My Plants. Enter a nickname, species, location, and watering schedule. You can also add a photo from your camera or photo library.
Why am I not getting watering reminders?
Make sure notifications are enabled for Plantly in your device settings. In the app, check that care reminders are turned on for each plant and that you have set a reminder time. On Android, allow exact alarm permissions if prompted.
How does cloud sync work?
Sign in with email or Google to sync your plants across devices. The app also works offline — changes made without a connection are queued and synced when you are back online.
How do I use the AI plant assistant?
Open the AI tab to ask care questions about your plants. Free, Premium, and Pro plans include different monthly message limits. Select a plant for more personalized answers.
What is included in Premium and Pro?
Paid plans offer more plants, higher AI and health-check limits, more growth photos per plant, plant memory editing, and an ad-free experience. Open Profile in the app to preview plan details. In-app billing may not be available in all regions yet.
I forgot my password
On the login screen, tap Forgot password? and follow the instructions sent to your registered email. If you signed in with Google, use Continue with Google instead.
How do I delete my account?
See our account deletion page for step-by-step instructions. Signing out or uninstalling the app does not delete server-side data.

When reporting a problem, please include:
- Your registered email address
- Device model and OS version (iOS or Android)
- Plantly app version (shown on the Profile screen)
- Steps to reproduce the issue
- Screenshots or screen recordings, if possible
